I started writing songs on porch steps of hundred-year-old brownstones in the fan district of Richmond. I left Virginia and made my way slowly through North Carolina and Tennessee, ending up in Memphis for 16 years where I played, wrote and hosted Open Mics and performed with friends in clubs on Beale Street and around town, before moving to Myrtle Beach in 2015.
