Volunteer

Help welcome guests, answer basic questions, direct people to venues and festival areas, pass out materials, keep spaces clean and organized, and support the Festival Operations Team where needed.

Be friendly, dependable, flexible, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests, artists, staff, sponsors, and other volunteers. Event, hospitality, nonprofit, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required.

Welcome guests, answer basic questions, help with seating and room flow, encourage a quiet listening environment, and minimize distractions during performances. Introduce artists and read their bios, and communicate with the Festival Operations Team, venue staff, or audio team as needed.

Greet artists, assist with check-in, direct them to the correct venue or stage, keep the green room clean and stocked, and monitor snacks, drinks, supplies, schedules, and artist bags. Communicate with the Festival Operations or Artist Relations Team as needed.

Be friendly, reliable, organized, professional, and respectful of artist privacy and prep time. Hospitality, event, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required.

Set up and break down sound equipment, run line checks, help artists plug in, monitor sound levels, troubleshoot basic audio issues, and keep stage and sound areas organized and safe.

Be reliable, calm under pressure, comfortable with live-sound equipment, able to communicate clearly, and respectful of artists, guests, venues, and festival staff. Live sound, listening room, venue, church sound, or festival production experience is preferred.

Pass out festival bands, collect donations, and gather email sign-ups at participating venues. Explain that the festival is free but donations are encouraged, help guests find schedules and performance areas, and keep the welcome area organized. Let the Festival Operations Team know when supplies run low or donations need turning in.

Be friendly, reliable, trustworthy, organized, and comfortable speaking with guests and handling donations. Customer-service, fundraising, event, or cash-handling experience is helpful but not required.

Welcome guests, explain how to bid, answer basic questions, and keep auction items and bid sheets organized. Encourage participation, monitor items, help close the auction, identify winning bids, and assist with payment and pick-up.

Be friendly, reliable, organized, trustworthy, and comfortable speaking with guests. Event, fundraising, hospitality, customer-service, or payment-handling experience is helpful but not required.

Photograph performances, candid moments, sponsor signage, festival spaces, behind-the-scenes activity, and community engagement — always respectful of artists, guests, and the listening-room environment.

Be creative, dependable, professional, able to work independently, and comfortable shooting live music in changing light. Provide your own camera, batteries, memory cards, and needed equipment.

Reports to: Festival Photography Coordinator

Break down tables, chairs, tents, signage, vendor areas, hospitality spaces, and festival materials. May include collecting supplies, loading items into designated vehicles or storage, removing trash, and leaving venues and public spaces clean and organized.

Involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, packing, loading, and moving light event equipment. Be reliable, able to take direction, comfortable lifting and carrying supplies, and willing to jump in where needed.
