Solo Artist Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Singer-songwriter/ soul
Melissa Joiner
Hailing from the Gulf Coast of Alabama, internationally touring singer-songwriter Melissa Joiner has been immersed in music since birth. Blending formal opera training with Delta Blues influence, she has developed a dynamic and distinctive sound that sets her apart.
Melissa grew up singing in a legendary roadhouse on the Alabama/Florida state line and cut her teeth in some of the last remaining juke joints in Mississippi. After achieving her goal of performing in 30 countries by the age of 30, she chose to call the East Coast home.
Her music can be heard on radio stations, at festivals, and on stages around the world. She has celebrated a #1 song in Norway, released her album Changing, and has had multiple cuts recorded by signed artists.
In addition to her work as a performer, Melissa is the Founder and Director of the Songs That Save Foundation and the Myrtle Beach Songwriters Festival, where she is dedicated to building community, supporting fellow artists, and using music as a force for impact.
