Solo Artist Gainesville, FL — Indie Folk Rock
Thomas Allain
I'm Thomas Allain, a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Gainesville, Florida, making what I call "sentimental indie folk rock." I believe that music heals, that live performance builds real human community (which feels increasingly rare), and that the right song at the right moment can change lives.
In January 2025, I began recording my debut album at Ivy Manor Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, with producer Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra, Julien Baker, Paris Jackson). The first single, "Footprints in the Stone," came out in June 2025.
Before stepping out under my own name, I fronted The Late Night Losers and toured with Cat Ridgeway & The Tourists. I've appeared at the 30A Songwriters Festival in 2024 and 2026, Tom Petty Weekend 2024, and play keys with PRIZILLA.
Drawing from Stevie Wonder, Benjamin Gibbard, and Theo Katzman, my goal is to create songs that are both honest and thought-provoking and rockin.
