Ocean Forest

Ocean Forest is a breezy, indie rock band from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Made up of Myrtle Beach natives who grew up in the Ocean Forest neighborhood, the band’s roots have always been tied to the coast. That connection found its way into the music, blending hazy guitars, big melodies, and a laid-back coastal feel. Pulling from psych rock, surf, indie, and Americana, Ocean Forest draws inspiration from artists like the Beatles, Wilco, Tame Impala, and Band of Horses without being tied to any one sound. The focus has always been on writing honest songs and following wherever they lead. Whether playing a neighborhood hangout or a festival stage, Ocean Forest is simply a group of friends making the kind of music they love. Their songs carry the ebb and flow of the Carolina coast—sometimes calm, sometimes loud, but always genuine.
