Pawgy

Pawgy from Pawgy and the We-Ah are a Myrtle Beach–based indie folk rock artist blending vintage protest spirit with modern storytelling. Rooted in the traditions of the 1960s folk revival yet unafraid to drift into darker, more psychedelic territory, their sound feels both timeless and immediate—like an old truth being told in a new way. A songwriter driven by the belief that music should challenge, provoke, and connect. His writing leans into themes of war, American identity, and the quiet struggles of everyday people, delivered with a voice that aims to both confront and comfort. There is an undercurrent in the band’s work that suggests music is more than entertainment—it’s a conversation, a reckoning, and sometimes even a form of resistance. The We-Ah bring that vision to life with a dynamic, ever-shifting sound. Acoustic foundations are layered with electric textures, balancing warmth and grit in equal measure. We would love to be a part of the festival.
